Three Excellent Places to Find Free Online Courses

Today we are sharing with you three excellent websites that will help you find the best free online classes or MOOCs from top trending universities. You can lay back in your coach, search for the courses that interest you and sign up  to embark on a new exciting  learning journey.

1- Coursera

"Coursera provides universal access to the world’s best education, partnering with top universities and organizations to offer courses for anyone to take, for free.Choose from hundreds of courses created by the world’s top educational institutions. Courses are open to anyone, and learning is free."

2- Class Central

This is another great platform where you can discover a wide variety of free online courses provided by some top universities such as Stanford, Harvard and MIT. All the courses are arranged by subject from computer science to social sciences.

3- EdX

“EdX offers interactive online classes and MOOCs from the world’s best universities, colleges and organizations. Online courses from MITx, HarvardX, BerkeleyX, UTx and many other universities can be taken here. Topics include biology, business, chemistry, computer science, economics, finance, electronics, engineering, food and nutrition, history, humanities, law, literature, math, medicine, music, philosophy, physics, science, statistics and more. EdX is a non-profit online initiative created by founding partners Harvard and MIT.”

Over 260 MOOCs Are Now Available for Your Professional Development

Open Culture has just released a new list of more than 260 MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses)that will take place during this month. The courses span different disciplines and subjects from digital learning to global health issues.Courses are arranged by start date, while evergreen courses, which can begin whenever you wish, are found at the bottom. Also, most of these courses offer  “certificates” or “statements of completion,” though typically not university credit. A “$” indicates that the course is free, but the credential costs money.
